Blogging has become so popular recently that many people have been able to turn it into a full time job. Making money with blogging can be difficult and many people who try do not succeed in their initial attempts. This is not because it is a bad way to make extra money.

So how do you go about making the best of your blog? While most people who are considering blogging for money are already web savvy, it is important to be up to date with the latest internet publishing software and websites. An out of date blog, or one which does not take advantage of new methods for increasing traffic, may struggle against technically superior blogs. Blogs today take advantage of things such as RSS feeds and podcasts. By utilizing the latest technologies a blog can keep up with the rest and really stand out. Wordpress blogs are especially regraded for their use of ease and plethora of features.

One thing anyone who wants to blog for money needs to remember is that regular visitors will lose interest if the blog is not updated frequently. Updating the blog every day can result in a very high turnover for certain blogs, but may be too much for others. A blog about a rapidly changing medium, business for example, can thrive on daily updates. However, a blog about a hobby such as snowboarding, may be better served by information-rich weekly updates. A blog which is unnecessarily updated may come off as spam to some readers. Despite this, a blog with appropriate and well-written updates will keep readers coming back for more time and time again. Making sure the updates are on a schedule, rather than random, can also keep readers coming back.

Blogging for money does not have to be hard. Do not let the lack of success from others steer you away. Those who are unprepared or not serious about blogging for money will make room for those who want to turn real profit. By doing your research and approaching the blogosphere with a professional attitude, it is very possible to supplement an existing income or replace it all together. As you may have noticed, we are using a new and needless to say beautiful theme on Ask Salomon. This new face has nicer and softer colors that make our browsing experience more enjoyable and brightens our day.

Technically, the best thing about this theme is the flexibility it offers.

For example:
Originally it had space for four 125×125 banners on the sidebar. Well, we now have six banners. All we had to do was to enter the code of two more banners below the previous ones and waaaaoooo, we got the six banners we wanted instead of the default four. The possibilities of this sidebar are infinite.

For now these banners are going to be our main stream of revenue, so feel free to click on them to visit our sponsors. We selected these sponsors for Ask Salomon for the quality of their products and their reputation. Many of their products have drastically changed many people’s lives. We are using some of these products and will post some reviews here as soon as we have some time.

We are planning to add a couple of banners at the bottom of the blog too. That will boost our revenue, but that’s another story for later

You have probably seen many blogs where you are presented with a bunch of screenshots (real or fake? who knows) of the owner’s revenue.

We plan to post some screenshots on Ask Salomon. The difference is that at the time of writing this post, Ask Salomon has 0 (zero) revenue.

It is certain that there are so many new blogs coming out daily where you can see the success its writer is having by showing the feed reader’s count, however, our new experiment will take you with us through a new path where no other information will be shown but real one, since there are no hidden interests on our side to do otherwise.  We will describe exactly what we are doing to get this project going. Maybe this project becomes such a success that you will decide to walk throughout the same steps with your own blog to accomplish the same results. No problem, we are here to share
