			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Grief is one the hardest things to overcome. The truth is, after a period of loss or grief, a part of us changes and we&#8217;re never completely the same. But what we can do is learn how to handle it for the better so we can learn and grow.</p>
<p>Living in perpetual grief is no way to live our lives and surely this is no way our loved one would want us to live. The question is this: is it possible to transform your grief into joy so your grief doesn&#8217;t overtake you?</p>
<p>Yes! Here are a few strategies you can use to help turn your grief into joy:</p>
<p>1. Remember that your loved one is in your heart. Although they may be physically gone, they&#8217;re still close by. You&#8217;re still able to speak to them, feel close to them, and have them in your life. </p>
<p>* Any time you feel the need to feel closer to your loved one, go into a quiet room and close your eyes, then say a prayer or speak to them within your heart.</p>
<p>* This simple strategy can be done at anytime and you can recall all the joys and happiness from you past to cheer you up.</p>
<p>2. Don&#8217;t stop talking about them. If you love and miss this person so much, chances are there are others out there who feel exactly the same way. Don&#8217;t stop talking about your loved one just because they have physically passed away. </p>
<p>* Talk about the memories, the good times, the bad times, the funny times, and the sad times. Just don&#8217;t stop talking and sharing with others about this person. </p>
<p>* If something reminds you of this person, tell others. </p>
<p>* Celebrate the amazing life they had and always keep their memories alive.</p>
<p>3. Create their legacy. When someone we love passes on, we don&#8217;t want people to forget the impact this person made when they were here. A simple idea is to do something in memory of this person that will live on forever.</p>
<p>* For example, you can plant a tree, donate to their favorite charity, or create a scholarship in their name.</p>
<p>4. Know that they would want you to be happy. The person you cared for so deeply would want you to be happy and deep down inside you know this too.</p>
<p>* They would want you to go out and live your life to the fullest. Doing this doesn&#8217;t mean you&#8217;re forgetting them, because they&#8217;ll always be with you in your heart. </p>
<p>* It&#8217;s time to leave an impact on someone else just like your loved one impacted you.</p>
<p>The loss of a loved one is never easy. We all take time to grieve our loss, but there&#8217;s a time that we must move on. We need to forge on, but we can still carry our loved one in our heart and memories. </p>
<p>We must go out and make them proud of us, and they&#8217;ll continue to be right by our side as we move forward again.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So, it looks like you&#8217;re stuck in a rut. Are you bored with your life and the same routine day after day? Of course you can&#8217;t be happy like this!</p>
<p>There&#8217;s an exciting world out there with a lot to offer. Deep down you know you want to get out and take a big bite of it. Sure, it may be a bit overwhelming, and even scary at times, but you can&#8217;t let your life just pass you by. </p>
<p>It&#8217;s time to live those dreams, take a leap of faith, and get out of your comfort zone! But how do you get started?</p>
<p>Read on for some valuable tips and suggestions to help you be all you can be, now and always:</p>
<p>1. Decide what you want to do. Put your fears aside and step outside of your comfort zone. If you could do anything without fear, money, or time being an issue, what would you choose? </p>
<p>* Make a list of everything you would like to accomplish someday. It doesn&#8217;t matter how crazy or outrageous you may think it is, just write it down. </p>
<p>* It also doesn&#8217;t matter if your list has three or thirty-three things listed. Just search your heart and your mind and write down what you would really like to do.</p>
<p>2. Faith. It&#8217;s important to have faith to see your journey until the end, yet this may be one of the hardest qualities to develop. Remember how it feels to be stuck where you are with no excitement and no real purpose. You know things can be better than they are now, but how?</p>
<p>* All you need to do is believe in yourself. You know that countless people before you have lived their dreams, so why not you? What makes them so different?</p>
<p>* There really is no difference between you and others, except for the belief in the possibility for great success. You can be just like they are; you just have to believe you can do it!</p>
<p>3. Don&#8217;t keep it a secret. If you&#8217;re ashamed of how you&#8217;re feeling, you shouldn&#8217;t be. Many people find themselves in the same predicament. The only thing that should embarrass you is if you intentionally decide to stay in that rut! Do yourself a big favor and open up to someone you trust. </p>
<p>* Whether that&#8217;s a parent, spouse, or best friend, tell them that you&#8217;re ready to make a change in your life and they&#8217;ll be able support you throughout your journey. They&#8217;ll encourage you on the good days and cry with you on the bad days. </p>
<p>* Most importantly, they&#8217;ll be there to support you throughout it all. It&#8217;s just what you need to achieve great success!</p>
<p>4. Take the first step. It&#8217;s time to take that first leap of faith. As much as you want to step outside the box and get out of this rut, nothing will happen without taking that first big step. </p>
<p>* No matter how frightening you may be, you need to focus on the big picture and the pot of gold at the end of that rainbow. Muster up all the encouragement and support you can find and just do it. Once the first step is accomplished, it gets easier! </p>
<p>* You deserve to be the best that you can possibly be, and deep down inside you know this. You&#8217;ll be so glad you took action &#8211; and you&#8217;ll be so proud of yourself when you celebrate at the finish line!</p>
<p>No one enjoys being in a rut and just going through the motions of life. Don&#8217;t let your fears hold you back. After all, this is a wonderful world that you deserve to enjoy to the fullest! </p>
<p>Go out and experience everything life has to offer. Take that first leap of faith and you&#8217;ll never look back again!</p>

<p>2. Choose sweet potatoes over white potatoes. They aren&#8217;t just for Thanksgiving anymore! Sweet potatoes are high in anti-oxidants and vitamins and are absolutely delicious as well.</p>
<p>* Providing many more nutrients than a typical white potato, they&#8217;re low in calories and a great weight loss food choice.</p>
<p>* Peel and cut sweet potatoes into chips or shoestring fries and roast in the oven for a tasty and colorful treat.</p>
<p>3. Water. Water is at the top of the list for a natural weight loss strategy. It sounds pretty obvious, but the truth is, we don&#8217;t tend to drink enough water every day. Not only does water flush out toxins and impurities, but it also helps in raising the metabolism, regulating body temperature and keeping our heart and brain healthy.</p>
<p>* Be aware that the popular flavored waters often add some kind of sugar, artificial sweetener, or even salt to the formula, making them less healthy than plain water. Stick to the natural stuff!</p>
<p>4. Legumes and beans. The benefits that beans and legumes provide are absolutely outstanding! They&#8217;re low in fat and high in fiber, making them a great choice for weight loss. They&#8217;re also extremely heart-healthy.</p>

<p>* Fruit smoothies are an excellent way to start your day. Even if you&#8217;re not a breakfast person, smoothies are easy to make and take on the go. Plus if you use fresh fruits, you&#8217;ll retain the vitamin content.</p>
<p>6. Vegetables. Vegetables are one of the building blocks of good nutrition, and essential to weight loss success. High in vitamins and nutrients, veggies also provide us with energy to sustain us throughout the day. Plus, they have very little sodium, so they reduce bloating and water weight gain.</p>
<p>* Try to incorporate veggies into your lunches and dinners every day, specifically aim for dark orange and dark green vegetables like squash, spinach, pumpkin, and romaine lettuce. A simple side salad or lettuce and tomato on a sandwich are easy ways to get started.</p>
<p>7. Eat organic and raw. It&#8217;s always best when trying to lose weight naturally to utilize organic products as much as possible. Organic produce is free of pesticides and preservatives and raw foods retain all of their natural vitamins and minerals. By ridding your body of these dangerous chemicals, weight loss can occur that much easier.</p>
<p>* Visit your local farmer&#8217;s market and support your local farmer. They might also have a larger variety of organic produce than the grocery stores.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ever since we were children, we&#8217;ve had dreams. The sad thing is, over the years we convinced ourselves that our dreams could never come true. Because we assumed that they were mere fantasies, we didn&#8217;t even try to make them come true.</p>
<p>Believe it or not, your dreams can be reality! However, you won&#8217;t get anywhere by simply making a wish. You have to take specific actions to increase your chances of living that life you always dreamed of. </p>
<p>These are some simple techniques that can help you get started:</p>
<p>1. You must possess passion and desire. These two elements are crucial for living your dream. Interestingly enough, you really can&#8217;t have one without the other. You must yearn to have something in your life so much (desire) and for the right reasons (passion). </p>
<p>* A good example to illustrate the difference would be if you always wanted to be a professional singer. You know that you have the talent and all you want in life is to sing on a professional stage some day (desire). Your focus isn&#8217;t the money, fame, or prestige; you just have a true love for singing. It&#8217;s all you think about all-day, every day (passion).</p>
<p>2. Patience. Patience isn&#8217;t easy, but in most case, our dreams don&#8217;t come true overnight. You need to work hard to achieve your full potential. Though it may take longer than you hoped, once you&#8217;re living your dream, you&#8217;ll realize that practicing patience was worth the rewards. </p>
<p>* Just remember to remain positive, focus on your dreams, and keep taking action to make those dreams a reality. After all, patience is a virtue!</p>
<p>3. Sacrifice. Achieving your dreams will require self-sacrifice. This is usually where most people can gauge how serious they are about turning their dreams into reality. Whether it is giving up your TV time to work toward your goals, or spending extra hours at work to further your career, you have to be willing to sacrifice something.</p>
<p>* If you&#8217;re truly passionate about your dreams, this shouldn&#8217;t be too difficult. If you do find sacrifice extremely difficult, it may be that you don&#8217;t possess enough desire, passion, willpower, or self-discipline to see your dreams through.</p>
<p>4. Confidence. If you truly want to make your dreams real, you have to believe they can happen. You must possess an intense confidence in yourself and your talents; otherwise, your dreams will remain dreams forever.</p>
<p>* Sometimes your confidence may waiver, but as long as you can focus on your ultimate goal &#8211; and you can actually see yourself achieving this goal &#8211; you&#8217;re heading in the right direction.</p>
<p>Final Thoughts on Achieving Your Dreams</p>
<p>No one can steal your dreams away from you except you. Sometimes we can be our own worst enemy, biggest obstacle, and harshest critic. But that&#8217;s not what you need! You need to remember that, by taking action and implementing these simple tips and suggestions, your dreams can come true.</p>
<p>Keep your focus on the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow; it will happen if you only believe it can!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Law of Attraction has intrigue more people than ever. So what is the Law of Attraction and how can it benefit you?  </p>
<p>It&#8217;s actually a quite simple concept. If you focus on the positive, you&#8217;ll attract the positive. If you focus on the negative, you&#8217;ll attract the negative.</p>
<p>Because of its simplicity, some people think this is utterly ridiculous, yet the Law of Attraction has been proven by countless people around the world throughout the ages. If you have an open mind and are willing to give it a try, you can live the life of your dreams.</p>
<p>Here are some simple tips and suggestions you can use to live the Law of Attraction:</p>
<p>1. Rid yourself of negative thoughts and feelings. Negativity will ultimately drive away the positive things you deserve, so you must learn how to erase your mind of anything negative. Quite honestly, this will require some practice, but it&#8217;s worth it!</p>
<p>* For example, if you find yourself standing in a long line and complaining about it, stop complaining and be thankful that you&#8217;re well enough to stand in that line.</p>
<p>* If you&#8217;re five dollars short to purchase something and wishing you weren&#8217;t so poor, turn that around to be thankful you have any money at all. </p>
<p>* After you consciously do this enough times, it will become second nature. The more you focus on positive things, the more positive things you&#8217;ll receive and vice versa.</p>
<p>2. Surround yourself with those who think the same. Plain and simple, this means to hang out with positive people. If you spend enough time surrounded by negative people, you&#8217;ll begin to complain, whine, and sulk over meaningless things, too. </p>
<p>* Is there someone in your life that you admire because of his or her optimistic outlook? Then that person is someone you&#8217;ll want to spend quality time with. </p>
<p>* Engulf yourself in their happiness and positive karma, and you&#8217;ll soon be upbeat and positive, too! </p>
<p>3. Visualize what the future holds for you. We all hold hopes and dreams for our future. Whether we want a better job, a bigger house, a new car, or more money, we all wish and daydream for something. </p>
<p>* Next time you daydream about that new house, actually visualize yourself in the house. Imagine exactly what the house looks like, your family watching television in the living room, and you making their favorite dish in the kitchen. </p>
<p>* Visualization sends a positive signal out to the universe. If you practice it consistently, you&#8217;ll be rewarded with what you desire.</p>
<p>4. Learn to give thanks. Whether or not you realize it, you have much to be thankful for. It&#8217;s extremely important that you take some quiet time to give thanks for all that has been given to you. </p>
<p>* Truly search your soul and list everything you&#8217;re grateful for. Don&#8217;t do this haphazardly! Practice this each and every day, usually upon rising in the morning. As you keep doing this, you&#8217;ll discover that you&#8217;re receiving more and more to be thankful for. </p>
<p>The principles surrounding the Law of Attraction are quite straightforward. To live the Law of Attraction, you just need an open mind, a willing spirit and a bit of diligence. With these, you&#8217;ll soon be praising the success of the Law of Attraction principles yourself.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you feel as if everyone is taking advantage of your good nature? Do you think they would still do it if you were more assertive? </p>
<p>Becoming more assertive is a goal that many of us want to achieve. We feel disrespected and we want to be able to stand our ground without guilt or fear. Developing a backbone is not an easy task, but it can be accomplished if you&#8217;re committed to it.</p>
<p>Here are some simple tips that will enable you to strengthen your assertiveness as quickly as possible:</p>
<p>1. Stop apologizing. Many of us use the term &#8220;I&#8217;m sorry&#8221; far too frequently and often at inappropriate times. Think about when you use those two simple words. Is it in a situation that you truly should be sorry for? </p>
<p>* Once you&#8217;re able to stop apologizing for every little thing, you&#8217;ll become more assertive. Learn to differentiate between when there&#8217;s a need to apologize and when there isn&#8217;t.</p>
<p>* Hitting someone&#8217;s cart in a grocery store because you weren&#8217;t looking warrants an apology. </p>
<p>* Drinking the last cup of orange juice before your spouse is not a situation that warrants an &#8220;I&#8217;m sorry.&#8221; </p>
<p>* If you&#8217;re watching television and your child prefers to sit in the chair you&#8217;re sitting in, &#8220;I&#8217;m sorry&#8221; isn&#8217;t appropriate.</p>
<p>2. Speak up. Tell those around you what you need. Assertiveness requires good communication skills. Be clear and firm with what you desire. Practice standing up for yourself by conveying your wants and desires to others. </p>
<p>* There&#8217;s no need to be aggressive or nasty. Simply communicate that you have thoughts, opinions and needs, too. Once you begin to express these better, the people around you will learn how to appreciate and respect you more, too. </p>
<p>* If you want to develop a backbone, this isn&#8217;t the time to be a mouse and stand in the corner. Voice your opinion and be proud of what you have to say; people will take notice and listen.</p>
<p>3. Be committed and patient. It&#8217;s wonderful that you&#8217;ve decided to make positive changes in your life. It&#8217;s something that you should be proud of! Unfortunately though, a complete transformation won&#8217;t occur overnight. You&#8217;ve entered into a journey, and you must be willing to stick it out!</p>
<p>* You&#8217;ll experience good and bad days, but you mustn&#8217;t give up. As long as you remain committed and patient, you&#8217;ll succeed in what you&#8217;re trying to accomplish.</p>
<p>* Focus on the big picture down the road and imagine how much your life will improve once you&#8217;re able to stand up for yourself.</p>
<p>4. Work on your body language. Body language is extremely important in any situation. When trying to become more assertive, your body language must reflect this as well. </p>
<p>* Stand straight, speak up, make sure your hands aren&#8217;t crossed over your chest, and maintain eye contact with whomever you&#8217;re speaking with. </p>
<p>* If you look assertive, people will perceive you as such. If you keep your eyes on the floor, have your hands across your chest, or mumble incoherently, you&#8217;ll have trouble to get your point across.</p>
<p>Assertiveness can help you in your personal life, career, family, and many other areas. Though it may take a bit of time, as long as you make positive steps to grow your new backbone, it will be there before you know it!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you find yourself wishing there were more hours in the day? Our lives are so filled with work, family, and appointments that we often can&#8217;t seem to fit in everything we need to accomplish in a 24-hour day.</p>
<p>But what if we could accomplish more in less time? If this were actually possible, it would allow us more time with those we care about and more time to focus on ourselves.</p>
<p>The good news is: there are simple strategies you can use to make the most of your days!</p>
<p>These tips will enable you to get more done in less time:</p>
<p>1. Make a list. Write out everything that you need to accomplish, and then joyfully cross off each task as you complete it. As you see your list dwindling, it&#8217;ll provide the needed motivation to get the rest of the list done, too. </p>
<p>* Put your list on the refrigerator, in your daily planner, or on the computer. Keep it somewhere handy so you can look at it often and stay focused.</p>
<p>2. Prioritize effectively. Determine which tasks are most important and what can possibly wait until later on in the day, week, or month. If this is something you&#8217;re having trouble with, you may be trying to squeeze in tasks that can actually be put on hold for a future time. </p>
<p>* Note the deadlines for your tasks. If your in-laws are coming to visit, then cleaning the guest bathroom takes priority over re-organizing the basement.</p>
<p>3. Avoid procrastinating. Far too many people put things off to the last possible minute. When this happens, we rush frantically to accomplish everything, but we end up doing a cruddy job and get ourselves all worked up for no good reason. There is a better way!</p>
<p>* Use your morning hours wisely and get tasks started early in the day. Chances are you&#8217;ll finish them in one day rather than having it drag into a second day because you didn&#8217;t have enough time to get things done. For some, this may mean waking up an hour or two earlier instead of sleeping an hour or two later.</p>
<p>4. Do the unpleasant tasks first. A great time management trick is to get the things you dislike out of the way first. If you keep putting it off, you&#8217;ll attempt to squeeze it in somewhere, and you&#8217;ll get the feeling of being overwhelmed.</p>
<p>* Schedule something fun after you finish your to-do list. This will motivate you to complete the list quicker.</p>
<p>5. Multi-task if you can. If you&#8217;re able to accomplish two things at once, then by all means do it. If you can put dinner on the stove while making a doctor&#8217;s appointment or wait for a load of laundry to finish while you mend a pair of pants, you can cut your time in half. </p>
<p>* Don&#8217;t sacrifice the quality of the tasks you&#8217;re performing. If you burn dinner because you were looking at the calendar to make an appointment, this only wastes more of your time in the long run.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, there are days where it seems like we don&#8217;t have enough of the precious gift of time. Thankfully, we can improve our time management skills so we&#8217;re able to accomplish more in any given day.</p>
<p>Improving these skills will reduce your stress level and give you more time to do the things that make you happy, leading to a more peaceful and fulfilling life.</p>

Maybe we&#8217;ve been told that we&#8217;re good at something, but we let our skills go untapped while we wait for the confidence and courage to take action.</p>
<p>There are even some people whose self-esteem is suffering to the point that they truly believe they don&#8217;t possess any talents at all! If this is you, please believe that your talents are there, just waiting to be revealed to you!</p>
<p>These tried and true strategies will help you develop your strengths to their full potential: </p>
<p>1. Research. Perhaps you think that you&#8217;re strong in one area, but you aren&#8217;t completely sure. This is where you need to look into things that interest you or that you believe you might be good at. See what resources are available and what it would take to make the commitment to strengthen your strengths.</p>
<p>2. Patience. Developing your strengths to their full potential won&#8217;t occur overnight. To fully develop a talent, you must be patient. Patience is not easy and many of us tend to struggle with it. But if you can be patient, you&#8217;ll definitely reap the benefits at the end of the process. </p>
<p>* A useful way to think of developing your talents is to consider it as a journey. It may take a while, but you&#8217;ll learn a lot along the way. </p>
<p>* You&#8217;ll make mistakes and celebrate milestones, and by the time you&#8217;re done, your strength will be fully developed to the peak of your abilities.</p>
<p>3. Set goals. People are more successful when they set goals. Write down what you&#8217;d like to accomplish and what date you&#8217;d like to achieve this by. Remember to be realistic and review your goals frequently to keep yourself on track. </p>
<p>* Post your goals in places where you&#8217;ll see them throughout the day. The refrigerator, bathroom mirror, and your computer monitor are a few ideas. This will not only keep you on track, but it&#8217;ll also motivate you to reach these goals as quickly as possible.</p>
<p>4. Believe you can do it. Confidence can be one of your greatest strengths and assets. When trying to improve yourself in any capacity, if you truly believe that you&#8217;re able to accomplish anything, you&#8217;ve won half the battle. </p>
<p>* The battle with your mind is often greater than any challenge you face in reality.</p>
<p>* You may have tough days when you&#8217;re unsure of yourself, but as long as you get back on track quickly, you&#8217;ll build momentum. Remember, you can do this!</p>
<p>Final Thoughts on Developing Your Strengths</p>
<p>Strengthening your strengths may be a daunting and overwhelming journey at times. And, yes, it will take some work. But everything worth anything involves hard work!</p>
<p>It&#8217;s important to focus on the big picture and remember the rewards you&#8217;ll enjoy once this process is over. Also, ensure that you have the unwavering belief that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. By possessing these two attributes, you&#8217;ll be on the road to success in no time!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Critical thinking is often characterized as a scientific, analytical way of thinking. It helps us form more knowledgeable opinions and make better decisions. That certainly seems like a beneficial skill to have, but how do you develop the ability to think critically? </p>
<p>Critical thinking doesn&#8217;t equal higher intelligence. In layman&#8217;s terms, it&#8217;s just a more logical way to think about solutions from all angles. </p>
<p>Some of us may have stronger critical thinking skills than others, but we can all learn how to improve and develop our mind.</p>
<p>Here are some suggestions that can help you strengthen your critical thinking skills:</p>
<p>1. Clarify. Make sure you have a clear understanding of the problem you&#8217;re trying to solve. You won&#8217;t be able to reasonably analyze a situation and locate a solution if you&#8217;re not completely clear on what you&#8217;re trying to accomplish! </p>
<p>* It&#8217;s also important that you place your own feelings about the situation aside. You cannot get a clear understanding of the issue if you have prejudiced opinions and biases about it.</p>
<p>2. Attempt to find a solution. Take some time with a pen and paper to define all possibilities. At this time you&#8217;ll also want to map out how you&#8217;ll be able to reach each of these solutions. </p>
<p>* Include the benefits and challenges of each solution. To learn how to improve and develop your critical thinking skills, you must be open to new ideas, so try and incorporate as much as you can into your list.</p>
<p>3. Information. Next, gather as much information as possible to support all the solutions you&#8217;re considering, as well as information you need to refute them.</p>
<p>* Considering your solutions from all angles will keep you from making a haphazard decision, which would not be classified in the realm of critical thinking.</p>
<p>4. Learn how to analyze. Now you have a problem, a list of solutions, and all the information you need to support or refute each of those decisions. So what do you do with it all? </p>
<p>* You&#8217;ll need time to analyze everything. Take everything into consideration and don&#8217;t assume anything. Make sure you have irrefutable evidence to back everything up. The more you practice this, the better you&#8217;ll ultimately get at it, so keep plugging away.</p>
<p>5. Conclude. Make an intelligent conclusion to your original problem. Make sure you have the documentation to back up and prove your decision. Always make sure this is a reasonable conclusion that is relatively simple to put into action. </p>
<p>* If you&#8217;ve put the time and effort into analyzing the problem and gathering the information, your conclusion should be able to support itself.</p>
<p>Final Thoughts on Critical Thinking</p>
<p>By following the steps explained here, you have just used your critical thinking skills! Though it may seem unnatural at first, as with everything, as you continue to practice these strategies, your critical thinking skills will continue to improve and develop. </p>
<p>Thinking critically can help you with many aspects in your life. Keep practicing these skills on a regular basis and soon you&#8217;ll enjoy the benefits of better decisions and superior choices!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you ever get the feeling that your first name should be Doormat? Do you feel as if people take advantage of you on a daily basis? Are you allowing this to happen? </p>
<p>If you responded yes to one or all of these important questions, it&#8217;s obvious that you don&#8217;t have the respect of others, but that&#8217;s why you&#8217;re here to learn! </p>
<p>Respect is something you earn. However, no one deserves to be taken advantage of. Fortunately, it&#8217;s possible to change how others treat you!</p>
<p>Implement these simple tips and tricks and you&#8217;ll receive the respect you deserve in no time:</p>
<p>1. Live by the Golden Rule. Most of us are familiar with the Golden Rule. &#8220;Do unto others as you would want done to you&#8221; is a wonderful philosophy when attempting to garner respect. Always treat others as you expect to be treated. People will tend to reciprocate and treat you the same way. If they don&#8217;t, then you can ease your way out of the relationships over time, if possible.</p>
<p>2. Put yourself first. An example of this would be telling your friend that you cannot babysit her 4-year old so she can get her nails done because you&#8217;re busy with your own personal appointments and schedule.</p>
<p>* You have to make yourself a priority. If people see that you respect yourself, then you&#8217;ll ultimately be respected, too.</p>
<p>3. Use strong body language. When speaking face to face with others, portray the fact that you&#8217;re strong and important. Stand straight, look people in the eye, and speak forcefully but not overwhelmingly so.</p>
<p>* If your body language shouts, &#8220;I am important and I respect myself,&#8221; you&#8217;ll surely gain the respect of others. </p>
<p>* Those people who stare at the floor when speaking, avoid eye contact, and whisper their words are telling others that they don&#8217;t believe they deserve respect and attention. Always remember to stand tall and proud; you&#8217;re important and you deserve to be recognized!</p>
<p>4. Speak positively. In addition to having strong body language, the words you use to express yourself are also extremely important when trying to earn the respect of others. Learn to speak in positively and authoritatively. Don&#8217;t be boastful, but don&#8217;t demean or belittle yourself either. </p>
<p>* Leave the impression that you&#8217;re intelligent, well spoken and confident. If you portray yourself in this manner others will treat you the same way.</p>
<p>5. Surround yourself with the right people. Let&#8217;s face it: there are people in this world who are disrespectful to everyone and everything. No matter what you do to command respect, nothing may work!</p>
<p>* You may need to take some time and rethink those you&#8217;re spending time with. They may not be the kind of people who have your best interests at heart. </p>
<p>6. Stand up for yourself. If people are disrespectful to you, how do you respond? Do you say something to the offending person or do you just go on with life? People treat us in the way we allow ourselves to be treated.</p>
<p>* If you confront the person and voice your opinion and unhappiness, chances are good that person won&#8217;t treat you that same way in the future. It&#8217;s not about being confrontational, but a simple &#8220;I don&#8217;t appreciate how you&#8217;re speaking to me&#8221; can go a long way.</p>
<p>We all have a desire and need to be respected. By making some small changes, you&#8217;ll be able to open yourself to receiving the respect of others, while learning how to also express your respect. Use these techniques in all interactions every day to gain the respect you deserve.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Attempting to boost your self-esteem during normal times is hard enough, but what happens when you&#8217;re dealing with a difficult period in your life? </p>
<p>Stressful issues like job loss, broken relationships, or sickness can lower our self-esteem. We tend to take the blame and feel that, if we were &#8220;better,&#8221; these things wouldn&#8217;t have happened in the first place. When thinking rationally, we may realize that this is untrue, but it&#8217;s harder during times of struggle to feel good about ourselves!</p>
<p>Here are some simple strategies you can use to give your self-esteem a boost during trying times:</p>
<p>1. Focus on the positive. Yes, negative things can happen in your life, but this must not be your only focus. As I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve heard before: &#8220;Things could be worse.&#8221; Try to turn your attention onto what you have that is good. </p>
<p>* Whether it&#8217;s wonderful children, a terrific spouse, or a roof over your head, focus on what is positive and special in your life.</p>
<p>* Not only will this make you feel better about your current situation, but you&#8217;ll also realize that these good things would not have been possible without you. </p>
<p>* It&#8217;s time to understand that you are a positive influence in the lives of many. Realistically, everyone has to deal with difficult times as a part of growing and maturing. Try to remember that &#8220;this too shall pass&#8221; and keep your chin up.</p>
<p>2. Take time for you. With all that&#8217;s happening in your life right now, you&#8217;re under a lot of stress. This obviously isn&#8217;t helping your feelings of low self-esteem. More than likely, you&#8217;re not taking any time out for the most important person in your life: you.</p>
<p>* Allow some time to relax and regroup. It will do wonders for your mindset! Make the time to do something that you thoroughly enjoy doing. It can be alone or with family or a trusted friend &#8211; whatever relaxes you the most.</p>
<p>* Read a book, take a bubble bath, make some cookies, or dance around the house to your favorite music. Anything that can relieve some of that stress you&#8217;re feeling will make a big difference.</p>
<p>3. Believe that things will get better. The power of the mind is amazing. If you&#8217;re in a situation that you truly believe is hopeless, your chances of changing that situation worsen greatly. If you believe things can and will get better, your chances of improving the situation are greatest. </p>
<p>* Knowing that things will improve will also help you feel more confident about yourself. You&#8217;ll feel more positive heading into the right direction, and your self-esteem will increase. </p>
<p>Life sometimes presents us with difficult situations that we&#8217;re not prepared to deal with. During these times, consciously redirect your feelings away from the negative and towards the positive. Your self-esteem will be strengthened, along with your belief of a better outcome.</p>
<p>When you can see a light at the end of the tunnel, things don&#8217;t seem as dark. Use these tips to find your light and feel better.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Recently there has been an explosion of discussion regarding the Law of Attraction. If you&#8217;re not familiar with the concept, it&#8217;s actually quite simple. Positive attracts positive and negative attracts negative. In other words, you&#8217;ll receive good things or bad according to what you focus on. </p>
<p>If you focus on the positive in your life, then more positive things will come your way. If you spend your time and energy focusing on the negative, then you&#8217;ll attract more negative things.</p>
<p>You can use these principles to harness the power of the Law of Attraction to attract more money into your life.</p>
<p>Follow these strategies to attract money:</p>
<p>1. Express gratitude. If you want more of something, like money, you must first express gratitude for what you have presently. Gratitude is a powerful positive emotion. Be thankful for all that your Creator has provided you this far. </p>
<p>* You must be sincere in your thanks. If you don&#8217;t honestly feel the gratitude, then you won&#8217;t be able to attract more of what you want.</p>
<p>* Stay focused on what you do have. Remember, if what you feel and focus on is actually your lack of money, it will only attract more lack back to you.</p>
<p>2. Picture yourself with the money. Visualize it in depth, as if you already have it. You want to see yourself holding the money, touching it, and feeling how happy you are with it in your life. </p>
<p>* Imagine sitting down paying all your bills and buying expensive gifts for those that you love. This will send a positive message out that is to be returned to you. </p>
<p>* Be consistent with sending out these strong positive thoughts and feelings. Mixing it up with negative ones about money sends a conflicting message.</p>
<p>3. Rid yourself of negative thoughts. It&#8217;s imperative that you eliminate as many negative feelings as possible. Make a conscious effort to find the positive in everything because your negativity won&#8217;t be rewarded with positive results. </p>
<p>* Are there others out there who are positive? You bet! Do your best to find and emulate these people. </p>
<p>* When life hands you a bunch of lemons, it&#8217;s time to make lemonade. Find the silver lining or take action to make something positive out of the situation.</p>
<p>4. Have Faith. There are countless documented cases of people who received their heart&#8217;s desire by using the principles found in the Law of Attraction. Those people are no different from you! </p>
<p>* Faith is a positive feeling. If you truly want to attract more money into your life, then faith is a must. You have to believe deep down that something like this can and will happen to you. </p>
<p>* It&#8217;s time to truly believe that you&#8217;re deserving of anything you desire.</p>
<p>The Law of Attraction has helped many people live their dreams. By following its simple principles, it can happen to you as well. Profess an open mind, a willing heart, and a joyful spirit and, in return, you will be rewarded with whatever you request!</p>

<p>Do you feel unappreciated at work? You may be a hard worker but never get the true recognition you deserve from your boss and colleagues. Just once you would like your boss to pat you on the back and say, &#8220;Good job,&#8221; but unfortunately that day never seems to come. </p>
<p>If this describes you, it may be time to fire your boss and venture out on your own. Although this may seem like a completely overwhelming move, it may not be as hard as you think!</p>
<p>Consider taking advantage of options like these:</p>
<p>1. Become a Virtual Assistant. Being a Virtual Assistant allows you the flexibility of staying at home while managing tasks for other companies.</p>
<p>* This is a great option if you enjoy computer work, managing tasks, paperwork, or customer service. </p>
<p>* Though it may take a bit of time to get your VA business off the ground, virtual assistants can command a high price for their services, especially if they have technical skills.</p>
<p>2. Join an MLM (Multi Level Marketing) company. These businesses are all the rage lately, but they do have their pros and cons. If you think that perhaps an MLM company is the business for you, be sure to do your research. </p>
<p>* Make sure the company you decide to partner with has a good track record. You can confirm this by speaking with other representatives of the company and checking the Better Business Bureau and similar websites for more information. </p>
<p>* Another fact you must be aware of is the sign up fee that can range from a few dollars to a few hundred dollars. Some companies even charge upwards of $1,000 to be a representative.</p>
<p>* Many people succeed at a multi level marketing business, but countless others fail miserably. Research the details of what you&#8217;ll need to do to succeed in your chosen business and ask yourself if you can do what it takes.</p>
<p>* It would be in your best interest to become informed and educated about the business before you sign on the dotted line and hand over your hard-earned money.</p>
<p>3. Make and sell your own crafts. Are your friends envious about the beautiful things you can make with your own two hands? Then this may be the business you&#8217;re looking for! With websites such as eBay and Etsy, as well as local arts and craft shows, many people are making a substantial living selling their homemade creations. </p>
<p>* Unique or one-of-a-kind items always sell at higher prices than the common ones. </p>
<p>4. Become a Life Coach. This business opens up a realm of possibilities. If you enjoy listening to people and providing advice, becoming a life coach may intrigue you. A life coach provides good, solid advice to individuals relating to a particular area in their life.</p>
<p>* A life coach can specialize in many different areas. For example, some coaches only deal with stay at home moms, while others help those wanting to make more money or lose weight. The options are absolutely endless.<br />
* You can go for training and become a certified coach at your local college or online.</p>
<p>* You must promote and market yourself strongly, and it may take awhile to get the business of the ground. But if this is something that you truly hold a passion for, it can turn into an extremely lucrative endeavor.</p>
<p>5. Become a Caterer. Does everyone say that no one can cook like you do? Do you get request after request for your recipes? Do you find spending time in the kitchen relaxing? Then starting a catering business may be something you&#8217;ll want to explore further. </p>
<p>* As in any business, it may take a bit of patience and energy to get it started, but the benefits will be well worth the energy. Make sure to call your friends and family and tell them to spread the word about your new catering business. </p>
<p>* Once you can secure your first party or event, you&#8217;ll have word of mouth recommendations marketing your business for you. If cooking is your passion and you learn how to manage food costs and market your business, then you&#8217;ll have no problem succeeding in this lucrative industry.</p>
<p>These are just a few ways to fire your boss and start your own business. Your next step is to decide where your passion lies. Decide what you enjoy doing and go from there. Beginning your own business is not easy, but with a dash of hope, dreams, patience, and hard work, you&#8217;ve just won half the battle!</p>

It seems that we&#8217;re busy 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and never have enough time to accomplish what we need to. Whether it&#8217;s your boss demanding overtime, your children needing your constant focus, or your spouse requesting your attention, every day seems like a whirlwind. </p>
<p>You love your family and need your job, but chances are, you tend to neglect yourself in the interim. It&#8217;s extremely important that you don&#8217;t let this happen. Put aside some time each and every day to make YOU a priority. </p>
<p>With a bit of creative thinking and time management, there are ways to find peace in your daily chaos. When you turn off the outside chaos, it gives you a chance to revel in all that is good and right with your world. And when you do this, you emerge with renewed energy and a fresh new attitude!</p>
<p>Follow these tips to enjoy more peace in your life:</p>
<p>1. Read a good book. If you&#8217;re one of many who enjoy reading, this may be just what you need. You can spend some time immersed in a different place or time, which will help you regain your calm. If you have a hard time focusing for long periods of time, try an audio book instead.</p>
<p>2. Listen to uplifting music. Music has always had wonderful and mysterious powers. It&#8217;s used to calm children, the elderly, and even animals during times of stress and angst. Play music that appeals to you. Dance, sing along, or just sit back and listen to its beautiful melody.</p>
<p>3. Reflect and meditate. Focus on everything that&#8217;s good and right with your life. Think of those you love and what you hope for them in the future. Think about your own future as well and what you hope to achieve in your lifetime.</p>
<p>* Close your eyes, sit in a comfortable chair, or lie down on your bed. Block out all sources of stress and think only positive thoughts.</p>
<p>4. Enjoy some family time. Spending time with those you love is often a great stress reliever. Choose a fun activity that you can all enjoy. You may want to play a board game or pop some popcorn and watch a movie together.</p>

<p>5. Get some assistance from the experts. Many noted authors have written invaluable books on the topics of de-stressing and de-cluttering your life. You can even purchase these books in an audio format and listen to them during your commute.</p>
<p>* When you&#8217;re stuck in traffic, rather than getting upset, why not turn this time into a way to de-stress?</p>
<p>6. Slow down. Take your time, stop and smell the roses, and listen to the birds chirp. Everything you need so desperately to accomplish will still be there waiting for you five minutes later. It&#8217;s a beautiful world out there! Do everything you can to make sure you enjoy every minute of it. </p>
<p>Use these tips every day to help you discover all the beautiful and wondrous things in your life and you&#8217;ll also find peace in your chaos!</p>

There are many documented cases of people achieving astounding results by applying the principles of this law to their own life. <p>The Law of Attraction states that positive attracts positive and negative attracts negative. In other words, if you focus on the positive, you&#8217;ll be rewarded with positive things. In contrast, if you focus on negative aspects of your life, you&#8217;ll attract other negative things back to you. </p>
<p>Does it seem too simple to be true? That&#8217;s because it is! This law can bring good things into your life if you understand how you can use it to your benefit.</p>
<p>Here are some examples of the Law of Attraction in action:</p>
<p>1. Health. Have you experienced health issues in your life? You can use the Law of Attraction to enjoy better health. </p>

<p>* Remove all negative thoughts and feelings so the subconscious will be able to process your request as pure and important.</p>
<p>* Picture yourself with the person of your dreams &#8211; holding hands, smiling, looking into each other&#8217;s eyes, and so on.</p>
<p>3. Money. Is it okay to use the Law of Attraction for something as material as money? The answer is yes! You can definitely apply the principles to attract wealth. As long as you properly request it, this too can be answered. Practice just as you would for anything else. </p>
<p>* Be thankful for the money you do have, no matter how little. </p>
<p>* Clear your mind of all negative thoughts and feelings and picture yourself with the money you desire. See yourself buying what you want, paying all your bills, and knowing that there&#8217;s always extra money in your bank account. </p>
<p>* Let your subconscious take you to a place where you already have the money.</p>
<p>If you do these things sincerely and consistently, you&#8217;ll be rewarded with better health, more passionate love, and wealth. </p>
<p>However, you must have an open mind and heart. If you harbor any doubt in the process, it won&#8217;t work. Also, remember that wishful thinking without action is useless. Make sure to follow up your positive thoughts with positive actions that guide you toward your goals.</p>
<p>The Law of Attraction has worked for countless individuals. Use these tips to implement these principles in your life and reap the rewards today, tomorrow, and forever!</p>

<p>We all have inner beauty, however, whether or not we&#8217;re aware of it or utilize it is up to us. Inner beauty is something that&#8217;s profoundly more important than physical beauty. It&#8217;s something that you must nurture and cherish.</p>
<p>When you develop your inner beauty, your physical beauty seems to miraculously improve as well!</p>
<p>Here are some strategies that can help you discover and develop your inner beauty:</p>
<p>1. Make an &#8220;I Love Me&#8221; list. This is a powerful tool to help you discover your inner beauty. Write down all of your good qualities that don&#8217;t relate to something physical. Are you sweet? Sincere? Love animals and children? All these attributes and a host of others relate to your inner beauty. </p>
<p>* The process of writing out your strengths gives you tangible evidence of your great inner qualities that you might not have even been aware of.</p>
<p>2. Surround yourself with those whose inner qualities you admire. Of course, they may also have physical beauty, but the reason you&#8217;re drawn to them is because they&#8217;re caring, loving, gentle, or otherwise admirable because of their inner qualities. </p>
<p>* When you surround yourself with these kinds of people, your own inner beauty tends to shine through also. They may even point out your inner beauty to you. People like this look beyond the outer shell and focus on what&#8217;s important inside. </p>
<p>3. Practice and cultivate your inner beauty. Most of us know how to take care of our physical beauty: we get our nails and hair done, we stay in shape, buy new clothes, and so on. </p>
<p>* Remember, when you discover and improve your inner beauty, physical beauty follows. Surely you&#8217;ve met someone and weren&#8217;t attracted to their physical beauty at first glance, but once you got to know them and saw their inner beauty, they began to be more physically attractive as well.</p>
<p>* What can you do to bring out your inner beauty? It&#8217;s simple: Be you! Show beautiful qualities like compassion, love, and patience, and practice them daily.</p>
<p>4. Avoid negative talk. Gossip and negative comments about others breeds more negativity within you. Instead, focus on the good in people. Rather than saying an off-color comment about someone&#8217;s appearance, put a positive spin and focus on a point of his or her inner beauty. </p>
<p>* This will help you cultivate and develop your own inner beauty, too. Focusing on the positive qualities of others brings out the best in you, too! You&#8217;ll also find that you&#8217;ll attract people because they enjoy being around you. Attracting loving and caring friends is just icing on the cake!</p>

<p>Whether you&#8217;re questioning if you got the job after an interview or if that first date went well, body language can provide you with a secret edge. </p>
<p>Be careful, though, because body language can be easily misconstrued. Sometimes people have certain actions or posture habits that disguise what they&#8217;re really saying. But by remaining alert and observant you&#8217;ll fair better than most!</p>
<p>Here are a few things to keep an eye out for that&#8217;ll give you the upper hand:</p>
<p>1. Be aware of how they&#8217;re speaking. Positive ways of communication include speaking at the same tone and the same rate of speech that you&#8217;re using. It&#8217;s also a positive sign when someone can share a laugh with you and truly have a sincere and inviting sound to their voice. </p>
<p>* On the flipside, negative ways of speaking include speaking a lot louder, softer, faster, or slower than you. If their voice sounds unsteady or quivering, they might not mean exactly what they&#8217;re saying to you aloud.</p>
<p>2. Notice what they&#8217;re wearing. People who are truly interested do their best to make a long lasting and positive impression. Their clothing will usually be neat and tidy and their hair will be groomed as well.</p>
<p>* Someone who isn&#8217;t interested will often appear unkempt because they don&#8217;t really care about the impression they&#8217;ll leave behind with you.</p>
<p>* The old saying, &#8220;Dress for success,&#8221; is a simple way to remember that people do judge others by their appearance. Whether it&#8217;s right or wrong, it happens. If you were hiring a salesperson for your company, would you want the person who&#8217;s friendly and dressed in a suit or someone who looks like he just rolled out of bed?</p>
<p>3. Are they interacting with you in a positive way? When people relate positively with you, they may express body language signals that show it. They may look at your eyes while speaking, lean towards you, or touch you gently to accentuate a point.</p>
<p>4. Do they appear uninterested or distracted? Negative signals include looking away when they should be listening, crossing their arms, constant fidgeting or tapping their foot, clearing their throat, or yawning. This may be a sign of distrust, anger, frustration, boredom, or a lack of self-confidence.</p>
<p>5. Practice people watching. The best way to learn more about body language is to spend some time observing people. By becoming more aware of the way others react to certain situations, you&#8217;ll be better equipped to communicate effectively.</p>
<p>* All people have their own quiet signals they display during different times. A great way to become more in tune with these signals is to take the time to make people watching a hobby.</p>
<p>* Become observant. Whether in the supermarket, church, or at the mall, watch the way people display their secret signals. It will greatly help you in deciphering body language in your own personal situations.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We all have a tendency to become side tracked. We may want to complete an important task, yet many distractions poke and prod us away from our goals. How can we keep our focus on the task as hand? </p>
<p>Distractions may be hard to ignore, especially when it&#8217;s a chatty coworker, a ringing phone, a demanding spouse, or many other things. Thankfully, there are some tried and true strategies we can use to put the distractions on hold and place an intense focus on our task.</p>
<p>Try these techniques to develop an intense focus:</p>
<p>1. Remove distractions. You can&#8217;t focus if you&#8217;re constantly checking your email, Facebook, or other time-stealers! You&#8217;ll get more done if you allow your mind to get in the groove with some peace and quiet.</p>
<p>* Turn off your email, close your web browsers, shut off your phone off or forward it to voicemail, and put on headphones to avoid loud noises. You&#8217;ll be glad you did!</p>
<p>2. Remain committed. You know that you have something you should finish, but are you one hundred percent committed to seeing it through to completion? This is where you need to be honest with yourself. </p>
<p>* If you&#8217;re not fully committed to your task, you&#8217;re more likely to allow distractions to overtake your mind. More often than not, you&#8217;ll use distractions to create excuses and exceptions that try to justify your lack of focus. </p>
<p>* If you are committed, it will be easier to ignore distractions and keep your focus. This is something only you can decide.</p>
<p>3. Set a time limit. Even if the task itself doesn&#8217;t have a time limit, assign one anyway. If you have a deadline, you&#8217;ll be more apt to complete your task in a timely manner. </p>
<p>* Rather than giving in to the surrounding distractions, you&#8217;ll be competing against the clock to get things done on time.</p>
<p>4. Take frequent breaks. This may sound contradictory, but it actually makes a world of difference for the workaholic. If we work too long at one time, not only do we become physically tired, but our minds tire as well. This makes us more susceptible to distractions and shatters our concentration. </p>
<p>* Work intently for an hour and then allow yourself a 10-minute break. When you return from the break, you&#8217;ll be more focused, your mind will be clearer, and you&#8217;ll be more likely to work for another hour without losing focus. </p>
<p>* This strategy allows you to get more work done in a shorter time.</p>
<p>5. Use a list. Lists are wonderful tools that help you accomplish your work quicker and easier. Before beginning, write down everything you need to accomplish and then cross out each task as you complete it. </p>
<p>* The process of crossing things off your list is a great motivator to keep you working without distractions, plus it helps to build the momentum to get everything done.</p>
<p>6. Reward yourself for a job well done. When you&#8217;re able to stay focused on an important task, reward yourself! Just keep thinking about the big picture and your reward once you&#8217;re finished with the task at hand. </p>
<p>* This will keep you on target and you&#8217;ll finish as quickly as you possibly can. Everyone loves a treat for a job well done!</p>
<p>Remember, you&#8217;re human, too. Losing your focus is easy in an existence that&#8217;s filled with daily distractions and annoyances. However, you&#8217;ll find that you can keep an intense focus on something if you practice these techniques. Make them a habit and enjoy your rewards!</p>

<p>Take heart &#8211; hope is not lost! There are some strategies you can utilize to overcome burnout, once and for all.</p>
<p>Try these techniques to get relief from burnout:</p>
<p>1. Don&#8217;t blame yourself. Life is hectic and stressful, especially with all the intense demands placed on our shoulders. If you&#8217;re feeling burnt out, rather than blaming yourself, be proactive in getting back in the saddle so you can feel like yourself again.</p>
<p>* Remember, you&#8217;re in control of your destiny. Focus on what you can do, not what you think you should do.</p>
<p>2. Stop being so serious. With the stress and responsibilities you carry on a daily basis, you may be in need of some plain ol&#8217; silly time. Release your inhibitions and have some fun! </p>
<p>* Whether it be dancing in your living room or swinging on the swings at a local park, take some time to find your inner child again. This will help you let go of your current stress level, even if it&#8217;s just for a little while. </p>
<p>* Making time to have fun will give you a chance to refocus and get your life and priorities back to where they need to be.</p>
<p>3. Stay healthy. It&#8217;s important to stay in peak physical condition when you&#8217;re under constant stress. Eat many servings of fruits and vegetables, drink large amounts of water, and exercise. </p>
<p>* Fit exercise into your busy schedule by making an appointment with yourself to exercise, and then keep your appointment! </p>
<p>4. Improve your time management skills. You may be burnt out because you&#8217;re trying to fit a week&#8217;s worth of stuff into a single day. Unfortunately, that&#8217;s impossible! Learning how to budget the time in your day more effectively will relieve a lot of this time pressure and stress. </p>
<p>* Good time management will lessen the feeling of being overwhelmed, as well as enable you to have the time you need to do what you want to do.</p>
<p>5. Get enough sleep. This allows your body to rest, rejuvenate, and start the upcoming day with more energy. You can also deal with stressful situations better when you&#8217;re alert and focused. </p>
<p>* If you adhere to the 8 hours per night rule, you&#8217;ll find yourself more focused, levelheaded, and patient.</p>
<p>Final Thoughts on Burnout</p>
<p>No matter how you may try to sugar coat it, modern life isn&#8217;t easy. It&#8217;s no wonder that sometimes we feel like we can&#8217;t juggle everything any more! </p>
<p>Although these feelings are normal from time to time, they can escalate out of control. </p>
<p>Before we reach that point, it&#8217;s important to get our lives back in the right direction. These burnout strategies and tips will enable you to better handle every-day stresses so you can enjoy all the amazing gifts life has to offer!</p>

<p>Focusing on phrases such as: &#8220;That was stupid,&#8221; &#8220;I am so fat,&#8221; &#8220;No one loves me,&#8221; and a host of other negative statements can easily zap the happiness right out of your life. </p>
<p>Luckily, this doesn&#8217;t have to be permanent. Positive affirmations can turn your negativity around. Affirmations are simply statements or phrases, which focus on the positive rather than the negative.</p>
<p>These mantras can actually reprogram your subconscious thinking and bring you a plethora of good benefits that you&#8217;ll enjoy for years to come!</p>
<p>Here are some easy ways to incorporate positive affirmations into your life:</p>
<p>1. Affirmations should always be in the present tense. Begin your statements with &#8220;I can&#8221; &#8220;I have&#8221; or &#8220;I am,&#8221; instead of a phrase like &#8220;I will&#8221; or &#8220;I may.&#8221;</p>
<p>* Examples of this would be &#8220;I have a beautiful body&#8221; and &#8220;I am so intelligent,&#8221; instead of &#8220;I will never be so stupid again.&#8221; </p>
<p>* Choose statements that focus on the positive attributes you want to encourage, saying them as if you already exhibit that behavior.</p>
<p>2. Address yourself by name when expressing your affirmations. Believe it or not, this does make a big difference. When you say: &#8220;I, Jane Doe, am a beautiful person both inside and out,&#8221; it makes your affirmation more powerful because you hear the lovely sound of your own name!</p>
<p>* Using your name in the affirmations allows your subconscious to process the words even quicker.</p>
<p>3. Focus on one or two affirmations to start with. Although you possess many positive attributes, it&#8217;s best to focus only on one or two when you&#8217;re first starting out. If you start with twenty positive affirmations, your subconscious may be overwhelmed or dismiss the deeper meaning. </p>
<p>* For example, if you meet someone who goes on and on about how great and beautiful you are, what&#8217;s your reaction? Usually after the second or third compliment, you tend to wonder if this person is actually being sincere! The same principal applies to practicing many affirmations at once. </p>
<p>* Focus on one or two, and when they&#8217;re firmly planted into your subconscious, you can move on to more.</p>
<p>4. Practice your affirmations as often as possible. Our subconscious mind is more open to suggestions when we first open our eyes in the morning and then again when we&#8217;re ready to fall asleep at night. </p>
<p>* The more often you recite your affirmations, the faster you&#8217;ll experience lasting changes.</p>
<p>5. Don&#8217;t fret if you&#8217;re having trouble writing your affirmations. There are many books and self-improvement websites that include hundreds of good, daily affirmations. You can then pick out one or two that you&#8217;d like to focus on and get started. </p>
<p>* Don&#8217;t let something as insignificant as not being able to compose a positive mantra hold you back from making changes and incorporating happiness into your life!</p>
<p>Low self-esteem is something that holds us back from living the life we deserve. You can rebuild your confidence and self-esteem with daily affirmations and experience the joy of life you&#8217;ve been missing. Try it and you&#8217;ll love it!</p>
