The time of turning a blog into a virtual creation
Posted on February 5th, 2008 by Ask Salomon under Life on InternetYou may have noticed that more and more people are becoming fan of the newest tendency on the internet: the blog, blogging. I have read through many of them, sometimes just out of curiosity trying to meet the persons behind and wanting to know more about their motives for writing and publishing online their various experiences, believes, advice, warning, etc.
Hey I am not talking about the bloggers who are just in for the money, those are a separate story.
Today I realized why this is becoming so trendy: it could be nothing less than the inborn need for creation all men have within themselves.
If you think in terms of ancient times you will find this repeating over and over again. Men just want to leave his mark behind.
The funny thing is that I wrote this post just after reading through a blog which catchphrase is: ‘Another Day Wasted’. These three words cut my imagination loose and got me to read through it. The guy behind this blog seems to have a good time writing about his particular live with personal details included. Honestly, without even noticing, I spent more than ½ hr reading through it… (I liked it though
).
Just snooping into somebody else’s life, really makes you feel like an intruder without a reason.
Coming across so many different types of blogs with such a diversified content amazed me to the point of making me want to find out where does the push behind it comes from.
I can make sense out of this by believing that people just want to create, to make something and today’s latest way of creating is this: The Virtual Creation, writing on the web and leaving something behind. The question is for how long? And will anyone ever notice? Ah, that is where the search engines help you get noticed.
This will not get more mystical than this. Don’t you agree?
Adios
